My First Day @ Accenture...

Thursday was my first day at the office. "The office?" you may ask. Yes. My first-ever day at an office..On 15th of July I started my first day on the job as Associate Software Engineer (ASE) for Accenture. Not in the office, but in the Westin ( A hotel near by...). Which was a perfect start, because it was not only an introduction to Accenture, but a return for me as well.

Like any person, I was both nervous and excited about the day. I felt like a celebrity in a room full of paparazzi, but not even a soul in the office noticed me. ( Bullshit...First ever in my life..). I hardly know 10 members, but its OK with passage of time I'll be able to pick them up...

The Westin is very good location to all the IT companies in that area. The location of the Westin is excellent, the hotel is modern and clean. Swimming pool and spa are provided. Furniture is very convenient, there are many beautiful pieces of art, the bathrooms are splendid. Hats-off to the decorator. It's a good thing that when God created the rainbow he didn't consult him. If so, he would still be picking the colors...hahaha...

I had my lunch at the banquet hall downstairs and the food served was not the best I had ever. Spent most of my day, by filling up the forms,( A formality on the first day... ) viewing the architecture, Resetting my Domain and Enterprise passwords. Finally, at 6 :30 got into the Office bus ( Lucky to have the bus facility ..) and reached home by 9...

Nothing Interesting..Nothing Amazing..
Nothing worrying..Nothing mystifying..

So Far Soo Good...

Finally, we were done with the event of conducting the third successful reunion ( phew...it took more than 2 months of planning....) . The best we've ever had. The effort on the part of the organizer ( both on and off the record) was unbelievable and mind-blowing. And the outcome.... Brilliant and Amazing (Frankly speaking, I never expected these many people to turn up). It was the day I have been waiting for...to see all my friends again. It was planned that we would meet at 10 in the morning. Hmm....I was on my word. Praneeth and Nithin came to my place and we proceeded to school (We were the only people who reached on time... ha ha.) ....In the meantime, we shared few smiley moments by taking snaps on the school premises. Secret Battle With Depression...

I feel so depressed all the time no matter what happens, I always end up feeling worthless and like nothing will ever change. I'm so frustrated. I don't want to deal with these emotional lows. I'm struggling again and I'm not sure why. What's really frustrating me ??... Hmm.... I dunno? Why do I want to just cry ? Why do I feel overwhelmed by nothing ? Why does life seem so much more difficult for me ? My subconscious is constantly haunted by the shadow of my Enemy : My Enemy : “I will never let you forget me,” “I can destroy you,”... I need to change myself. Without change, we wouldn’t have butterflies.( Butterflies are beautiful and a great symbol of change... ) So, no matter how difficult the change is, I’m going to have a roll with it. I hope that this darkness doesn't last long anymore. It drives me insane... It's a fight. And I keep on fighting each and every day. So, I guess I'll just keep fighting. I'm hanging on and doing what I can.

Software Engineers Waiting For Haircut ..

This is not to humiliate SE’S. It’s just a short dulcet story.. There was a good old barber in Hyderabad. One day a florist goes to him for a haircut. After the cut, he goes to pay the barber and the barber replies : ”I am sorry, I cannot accept money from you. I am doing a Community Service” … Florist is happy and leaves the shop. The next morning when the Barber goes to open his shop, there is a “Thank You” Card and a dozen roses waiting at his door. A Confectioner goes for a haircut and he also goes to pay the barber he again refuses to take the money. The Confectioner is happy and leaves the shop. The next morning when the Barber goes to open his shop, there is another “Thank you” Card and a dozen Cakes waiting at his door.
